I have a master's degree in counseling from University of Wyoming, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I offer mental health counseling to individuals 3 years and older and have experience in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, women issues, trauma, stress related disorders, and substance use/alcohol addiction. I am trained in EMDR, play therapy, and specialize in working with individuals with a variety of cultural backgrounds. My overall approach to counseling is from a Person-Centered lens however, I do use various concepts and techniques from other counseling approaches, and the techniques I choose to utilize are based on each person as an individual. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and build resilience. I value a collaborative therapeutic relationship and works closely with clients to set realistic goals and track progress.
